Wedding Photography - St Stephens Church and Marble Hill Park
It was August bank holiday and what a fantastic day. This was never going to be a “ traditional wedding” as Peter and Katie from the start, had always said they wanted a very relaxed approach and although it’s always exciting to see the bride in her dress, this was going to be different; Katie wasn’t going down the traditional wedding dress route, she was custom making her own dress ( I do need to mention here Katie wasn’t taking any chances, not only does she make shirts for Savill Row as her profession she restores antique fabrics so we knew it was going to be a showstopper). It didn’t disappoint, the wedding was absolutely beautiful, the church - St Stephens Church, Twickenham was just perfect and we couldn’t have wished for better guests – we love a summer wedding for the bright dresses and fascinators and the opportunity to be outside.

After a few traditional family shots the guests disappeared off to the reception and we stole Peter and Katie to capture some more sophisticated shots of them in the gardens around Marble Hill House. The weather held off and at times offered us some dramatic skies which looked great. Katie’s dress looked absolutely perfect and made for the shots outside the House, while Peter just couldn’t help but look cool! They managed to get a few moments to themselves to take it all in and we managed to get some informal, natural shots through the trees, across Marble Hill park as well as some more stylised ones using exposed brickwork as the backdrop.

All in all the locations offered us a lot of opportunity but we had to get back to the reception for the much anticipated speeches!!
Great day guys and a pleasure to be a part of it!
